• I, I, I, I Workout (PLAYLIST)

Well, I’m working on making the title true. But, as dictated in my long list of new year’s resolutions, I have to make more of an effort to have fitness in my life. Yeah, it is May, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t get these resolutions moving at this point in the year. So, I’ve started “running” every other day or so. But, the thing is, I am so music-centric, that I have to make these elaborate playlists to stay motivated to run. Granted I’m not running forever, so these playlists  have to be succinct and high quality. I’m not skimping here. I’m giving you the real deal playlist. My…

  • First Experiences with the Pink Latte Everyone is Talking About

From my own personal experiences reading food blogs on a near daily basis, this headline was a little blown out of proportion. However, I was enamored by the enthusiasm from the one the only Dr. Oz regarding this new super-latte, as he compared it to the bulletproof coffee trend. Picture this: Maryland, 2017. (Can you tell I’ve been watching a lot of Golden Girls over the past few months…) I was at my parent’s house for an Easter celebration last week, and I happen to catch an episode of Dr. Oz right after LIVE with Kelly. Dr. Oz was getting all jazzed about the latest trend in hot, health-boosting coffee-inspired trends. You may have a…

  • UNICORN FRAPPUCCINO REVIEW

Wow folks. I’m back after a bit of a hiatus due to a huge newsworthy event happening at everyone’s favorite neighborhood (read: corporate giant) coffee shop, Starbucks. From April 19 (the past) to April 23 (the future), stores will be dishing out the new Unicorn Frappuccino. And, if you were wondering how a drink can be named after a mythical creature, with enough sparkly pink sugar dust, sour blue sauce, and cream, anything is possible. It has been taking the Instagram world by storm, just search the hashtag #unicornfrappuccino and you are bound to be wowed by the beautiful colorful pictures. I had to try it for myself, and boy was…

  • Springtime is here!

Starbucks got me firmly in the mood to talk about springtime. I was going to recap my last week on my high-energy, perilous, relaxing trip to Atlantic City, NJ (hopefully will get that up tomorrow) or put up this chicken recipe that I have been putting off for weeks. Instead, I’m going to write about all of the reasons that Spring gets me going. I think that spring may be my favorite season of the year. Earlier today, I read a CNN article called “Spring, the unsung season.” And to say the least, I was really in to it. It made me think about all of the things springtime means to me.…

  • Chocolate Mint Milkshake Showdown 2017

Let me begin this post with a bit of information on one of my most memorable childhood memories: Getting Shamrock Shakes from McDonald’s with my mom. We didn’t go out to to McDonald’s too often, but in late-February/early-March… It was time for a green mint milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry. Even after I moved out of the house, I continued going to McDonald’s every year to get a taste of the green nectar of springtime. (Side note: I never really should be drinking these due to a lactose sensitivity, but I take my chances when it comes to Shamrock Shakes…) So, I was all excited for shamrock shakes…
