I, I, I, I Workout (PLAYLIST)
Well, I’m working on making the title true. But, as dictated in my long list of new year’s resolutions, I have to make more of an effort to have fitness in my life. Yeah, it is May, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t get these resolutions moving at this point in the year.
So, I’ve started “running” every other day or so. But, the thing is, I am so music-centric, that I have to make these elaborate playlists to stay motivated to run. Granted I’m not running forever, so these playlists have to be succinct and high quality. I’m not skimping here. I’m giving you the real deal playlist.
My goal going forward is going to be to post my playlist for the week here on LivingNimbly to keep me motivated towards working out and keep the LivingNimbly community alert of the latest trends in my personal playlisting habits. Sounds like a good plan right.
To start out this reoccurring post, I wanted to give you all a peak into what I think an exercise playlist should be. It has a few #classics that should be on nearly every running playlist. It also has a dose of hot new tracks.
I know, it is a little heavy on the Calvin Harris, but it has been nice here in Minnesota this past week. And, nice weather means that Calvin Harris has to be glaringly present on all playlists. I also made a quick shoutout to all of the fans of Big Little Lies out there near the end. Comment if you figured it out.
Here is your heaping helping of good music to shake those calves to:
